SKIN Security Risk Management Commitee Kick Off

Cyberjaya – Prestariang SKIN (PSKIN) organised the SKIN Security Risk Managemnet Kick-off and Steering Committee meeting of SKIN project today at Prestariang office. SKIN project aims to develop a highly secured integrated core immigration system in compliant to ISO 27001 and ISO 22301. In the age of abundant information, Prestariang believe the need to comply with multiple intersecting regulation and standard to build its trust from stakeholder and proof the commitments in obeying applicable regulation, relevant industry standards and internal security policies.


"It is a satisfaction for me to share our direction in obtaining ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 certificate that align with our key principal of SKIN : HIGH AVAILABILITY & RESILIENT, SECURE BY DESIGN AND AGILE FOR FUTURE EXPANSION", said Raja Azmi Adam, CEO of PSKIN, after officially announcing the formalisation of the committee today.


SKIN being a National Security agenda and interest of Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII), will concisely comply to relevant security standard in gaining confidence and trust of citizens and government.


Raja further emphasised that Prestariang recognized and fully understand the critical and highly interdependent nature of the CNII thus establishment of comprehensive governance, risk management and compliance frameworks is critical in ensuring the effectiveness of security controls over vital assets of SKIN and protected to a level that commensurate the risks faced.


To show the commitment in fulfilling the requirement with accountability and responsibility in driving security initiative, the CEO proudly placed a security awareness sticker “SECURED BY DESIGN – SKIN SECURITY TASK FORCE” on the committees’ left arm.
