Prestariang Signs the MLA 3.0 Agreement with the Government Of Malaysia

PRESTARIANG SIGNS THE MASTER LICENSING AGREEMENT 3.0 WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF MALAYSIA AS THE APPOINTED SOLE MICROSOFT LICENSING SOLUTIONS PROVIDER
PUTRAJAYA, 4 September 2018 – Prestariang Berhad (“Prestariang” or the “Group”), a Technology and Talent platform innovator, through its wholly owned subsidiary Prestariang Systems Sdn Bhd (PSSB) signed a Master Licensing Agreement (MLA) 3.0 with the Government of Malaysia as represented by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) to be the sole Microsoft Licensing Solutions Provider (LSP) for all Government Agencies and Institut Latihan Awam (ILA) in Malaysia today.
Signing the Agreement at the MOF was the Deputy Secretary General (Management), YBhg. Datuk Ahmad Badri Bin Mohd Zahir and the President/ Group Chief Executive Officer of Prestariang, Dr Abu Hasan bin Ismail. This is subsequent to the receipt of the Letter of Award (LOA) and the announcement made on 29 January 2018. The event was also attended by Prestariang’s partner, Microsoft.
The MLA 3.0 is an extension and renewal of the MLA 2.0. for a period of three (3) years commencing from 1 February 2018 until 31 January 2021 at an estimated total value of RM222,600,000/-. The scope includes expanded clientele with ILA as its new customer base and new added scope of services.
MLA 3.0 blueprint is aligned to the Competency Enhancement Program Strategic Plan developed by MOF to drive the Government’s Digital Transformation agenda. The Agreement confirms the continued role of Prestariang in providing Microsoft training, products and services under the Group’s Technology and Talent platform.
PSSB has been appointed as a Microsoft LSP since 2006 and has been recognised as one of the largest LSP in Malaysia.
