Abdul Rahim Bin Awang

Chief Financial Officer

Abdul Rahim Bin Awang has over 27 years of working experience, encompassing corporate finance, advisory, financing, financial restructuring and investor relations. He started his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young and thereafter joined Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad in its Corporate Finance Department. He then joined Tongkah Holdings Berhad as a Corporate Finance Manager, before being appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr Rahim expanded his horizon further with Kencana Petroleum Berhad as its Head of Capital Management, prior to his last attachment with Barakah Offshore Petroleum Berhad, serving multiple roles including as its Acting Group Chief Executive Officer.

He officially assumed the Chief Financial Officer role for Prestariang Berhad on 1 March 2020, carrying valuable experiences along with his brilliance into the Group.

Mr Rahim is a holder of Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from St Martin’s University, Lacey, Washington, USA.
